ABOUT ME

Arco Iqbal is a Bangladeshi photographer based in Dhaka. His work concentrates on various social issue, gender equality, cultural norms, urban life and minority communities that comprise into human stories investigating social and cultural identity and their emotional dimensions.

After finishing his bachelor degree of Business administration his passion dedicated to telling stories through the lens started with Professional Diploma in photography from Counter Foto in Bangladesh.

His work explores the intricate relationships between people, land, river and memory. He continues to seek out stories that challenge, inspire and connect us all.

Apart from photography, Arco loves to sing folk music and travelling to discover the local communities’ norms.
