Off the brickfield is a long term visual project .It is a landscape where earth becomes architecture, labor becomes survival, and the cost of development is written into the air, bodies and soil. Earth being extracted to bricks being fired, stacked, transported, and eventually disappearing into the expanding city. This story follows the life of a brick: from soil to fire, from worker to city, and asks what remains behind when the earth has been taken away.

“No one knew my river was always flowing” is a about the relationship between people and the river. I photograph from my observations and experiences depict the landscape, portraits, objects and nostalgic memories.
